How to Get Rid of Mastitis

Mastitis is an infection of the breast tissue, which cause pain, swelling, and redness of the breast. The condition is also known while lactation mastitis while it generally affects women who are breastfeeding their infant but it can too affect women who are not. The infection usually only affects one of the breasts and it is suggested that mothers continue breastfeeding their child even with mastitis because breastfeeding would help in recovery and is perfectly secure for the child to drink. Mastitis is particularly common in women who are breastfeeding a baby (lactating). When the skin of the nipple (areola) is wounded or split, such as occurs with nursing, bacteria can enter the wound and cause infections. In a breastfeeding woman, a difficult area generally thought of a "clogged milk duct" can form. Sometimes, certain cures can prevent the painful, difficult area from developing into a real breast infection (mastitis). Mastitis is also known like breast enlargement. Girls can have brief hormone-induced breast irritation shortly after birth and during puberty.

Causes of Mastitis

Common causes and risk factors of Mastitis

2. Rapid weaning.
3.Poor attachment to the breast.
4. Bacteria are produced on the skin of the breast and while the baby nourish, the bacteria increase while the baby’s mouth enters the milk duct.
