Typical symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea which occur abruptly (within 48 hours) after consuming a soiled food or drink. Depending on the contaminant, fever and cold, bloody stools, dehydration, and nervous system damage can pursue. They are generally found in raw meat, chicken, fish, and eggs, but can increase to any type of food. They can also develop on food which is left out on counters or outside or is stored too long before you eat it. Sometimes food poisoning occurs when people do not wash their hands before they touch food. Generally, food poisoning is soft and goes far after a few days.
