A bruise is a common skin injury that consequences in a discoloration of the skin. Blood from damaged blood vessels deeply under the skin gathers close to the surface of the skin resulting in what we think of like a black and blue mark. 1. Black and blue or purple skin, turning red or yellow.
2. A piece which is tender and sometimes even painful.
3. Swelling or hard piece under the skin.
4. Skin discoloration.

Home Remedies for Bruises

  1. Apply an ice pack to the wounded area this will help reduce the size of the bruise by slowing down the blood that's flowing to the area, which decreases the quantity of blood that ends up escape into the tissues. Do the ice massage for no more than 30 minutes. Repeat two to four times per day. If ice is not available, immediately press a knife (flat side only) or a spoon on the bruise during five to 10 minutes.  
  2. Raise the wounded part above the level of the heart, altitude helps reduce inner bleeding and swelling. It can also reduce the throbbing pain, which can be present.
  3. Mixture that works while the great bruises remedy include herbal infusion ready out of Arnica, Yarrow, and Chamomile which contains minimal proportion of antiseptic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
